Precision pull-thru straighteners manufactured by CHS Automation, come in various widths, roll diameters and five, seven or nine roll designs. Precision straighener mounting and alignment insures consistent material tracking. In operation the stock is pulled through the straightener to effectively remove coil curvature and increase die life.
The CHS Automation, power pinch roll roll straightener permits threading of stock through a motor driven pinch roll. The material is then powered through the straightener. Control is through a hand held jog control for both foward and reverse threading. The pinch roll is engaged through a hand clutch or air operated clutch. Additional threading features include air operated raise and lower of upper pinch roll.
