A versatile system designed for handling a wide range of material widths
and thicknesses. The coil load car provides efficient coil loading. The
combination hold down wheel/peeler/threader end debender and exit thread
table allow one operator to power thread material from the reel to roll
feed entry.
HEAVY DUTY COIL HANDLING SYSTEM
CHS Automation offers a comprehensive line of equipment designed to facilitate hands free threading of the coil lead edge for quick coil changes. A motorized hold down prevents coil clock spring and threads stock. Th hold down wheel rotation reate is variable via flow controls and is operated simultaneously with the reel threading drive. The retractable peeler blade extends to the coil O.D. to peel the outer wrap of stock. The peeler table supports the stock from the reel to the powered straightener. Heavy gauge stock may be flattened between the hold down and peeler table. An exit thread table supports the straightener to the servo feed during thread operation. Threading recommendations are quoted to meet your material width and thickness requirements.

EXTRA HEAVY DUTY COIL HANDLING SYSTEM
This line was designed and manufactured for a heavy metal stamper in Milton Ontario. Capacities and features of this feed line are 60,000 lb capacity on the Coil Reel and Load Car. Reel and Straightener are equipped with clock spring guard, anti-tip arms, hydraulic thread drive, hydraulic peeler threader and debender system, air operated entrance and exit pinch roll, motorized Straightener roll adjustment via five screw jacks with over torque limits. Straightener model number is a PS 5x7x72, 5” diameter breaker rolls with 6.8” diameter air operated entrance and exit pinch rolls with a 70 hp AC variable speed drive and control.
