CHS Automation is the current name of Coil Handling Systems, formally Air Feeds/ Roll Feeds, Inc. Throughout the years the name has changed, but our product line still holds the integrity it was first engineered with in 1966. We are dedicated to assembling our products with the finest components available to produce the highest quality coil handling and press feeding equipment in the industry. Our coil handling systems are 100% assembled in Roseville, MI where we’re able to perform in-house quality control. This allows us to insure our customers that they receive a superior coil handling system.
RETROFITTING
CHS AUTOMATION alongside Pneumatic Feed Service, LLC. can integrate your current equipment into a new/used feed line. Pneumatic Feed Service can re-build and repair used equipment while CHS AUTOMATION can build all new components to marry up with the used. This particular Powered Straightener was choosen from our vast inventory of used equipment which can be viewed at www.preessfeed.com/machines.htm. Any piece choosen can be retrofitted into a new/used combination. No other coil handling systems manufacturer can offer this type of service at the speed and quality level we can.
MACHINING DEPARTMENT
Our recently expanded machining department now hosts two FADAL vertical milling machines, one Haas CNC turning lathe with live tooling, and an on-staff programmer. With these additions we are raising the quality and accuracy of parts, decreasing start-to-finish product turn around time, and are more nimble when implementing last-minute engineering upgrades.
